Theater Interpreting
Experience
I have worked with the Murfreesboro Center for the Arts and the Clarence Brown theater to interpret productions such as You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, A Christmas Carol, and The Play That Goes Wrong.
Process
In order to accurately interpret your show, I will attend multiple rehearsals as well as study the script. My goal is to match the actors' expressions and tones so that every emotion, joke, and dramatic beat is conveyed to all audience members.
Teamwork
For many shows, two interpreters are needed to cover all the characters. I will assess the production's length and cast and determine if a team is needed. This is one way I ensure every character has a distinct voice in an interpretation.
